Sekeping Serendah , Selangor

Checking in Sekeping Serendah, Selangor for a short break before holidays season started. A private retreat surrounded by natural forest living environment.

There were some difficulties for reaching the retreat. Once you drive in the village, there will be no mobile network available. So there is no use for WAZE anymore. There are no signboard to be seen as well. We asked a few local at nearby for the directions. And finally, the only sign to been seen is this.
Once you see this, just follow the path and you will be reaching the retreat in around 10 minutes drive.

Check in at our Mud Shed stay after 2pm.(16.11.2017).
If you wanna option for Glass Box, you will need to booked a few months early i guess. It's almost full during November and December. Mud shed as well were half booked.

 MUD SHED 1
RM320.00 a night for 2 pax

add on 1 guest for RM50.00/each.
A room with a queen-sized bed with mosquito net and two single beds.
Only with ceiling fans. 2 in room and 1 in toilet.Totally enough for the night.
 Not an outdoor shower
Kitchen
Kitchen facilities are provided. BBQ equipment as well.
They provide Mosquito Coil in the room.
Luckily we had our repellent patch and roll on with us. The mosquito outside was not kidding.
They stings !
Not to be left out, we bring in some snacks for the night as there aren't any stores nearby.

Reminder : Bring along a extension cord. There are only two wall switch socket available, one for the fridge and which you will be left with only one free to be use.

Swimming pool.
Heard there is a chlorine-free natural plunge pool from the waterfall,
which i dont really know was this the one.
Hahahahha
 Cautious : Mosquito are plenty

We actually slept without the mosquito net.
I burned a mosquito coil before we left the shed for a swim. The room was free from mosquito by then and the smells of the coil does not linger around as well.

Had some pre dinner snack before the caretaker sent us our dinner at 7:30pm

We did not opts for BBQ during our stay so we had the caretaker's meal
the Nepalese cuisine dinner
for 4 pax RM50 / each
if im not mistaken , they only have option for 2 or 4 pax only
The rice given was enough for 6 person i guess.
but honestly , 4 pax was too much for us. We left some for supper in case of hunger.
Bring along some entertainment as there aren't much thing you can do here.
Totally nothing during night ( except BBQ )
No TV , No WIFI , No Mobile Networks available.
So we left with entertaining our self the whole night.

Checked out by 12pm the next day.
A 10 minutes drive from the retreat to the Waterfall before we headed back to Penang.
Not much to expect, so we didn't really stop by at the waterfall.
We accidentally drive in here before we reach the retreat yesterday and there were a few guys who are at the parking lot asking for fees to the waterfall so we assume you will have to pay before you reach.
But we didn't saw him the other day after we check out. So it's based on your lucks then :)

 Till then... <3 br="">
